Anyone that has read this blog for a while knows that I tend to get on ‘themes’ in my life. The same subject arises multiple times in a short time period and I am compelled to write about it. The new ‘theme’ that I can’t seem to escape is germs and how we feel about them as a culture. Germs don’t seem to be a topic that fits into permaculture particularly, but, . . . since our fear of them and our war against them is a cultural issue, trust me, it does relate! Since this is a pretty big topic, we’ll break it down into manageable chunks. This one will be the first in a series.
